Dr S. P. Singh is currently working as a Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Delhi, India. Prior to joining IIT Delhi, he worked at NIT Jalandhar, TIET Patiala and GNEC, Ludhiana. His research interests are Active and Passive Vibration Control, Composite Mechanics and Nano-mechanics. He teaches courses in Machine Design, Instrumentation and Controls, Analytical Dynamics and Engineering Graphics. He has published about 100 research papers which include 40 journal papers and 60 conference papers. His other interests include devotional music, badminton and kite flying. He lives in New Delhi.
