Namaste visitor! Here you will find information about my interests - research, teaching and others. My basic profile info is the following: B-Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from IIT Bombay, two years of work experience at Infotech Financials Pvt Ltd (Mumbai) and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR, Mumbai), PhD in Operations Research (OR) from UNC Chapel Hill and now a professor in the at IIT Delhi. At TIFR, my research was in Options Pricing using Simulation (using techniques such as Importance Sampling and Control Variates. My PhD thesis was on Scheduling in Wireless Cellular Networks. Currently, our work focuses on Public Systems, i.e., large systems primarily managed by the institutions of the government or the broader state. Visit our Public Systems Lab to know more about how we are impacting public systems such as the Public Distribution System through Supply Chain Optimization for the Department of Food & Public Distribution, Government of India, Mega Infrastructure Projects through the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of Bharat and more.
